    Description

    Learn how to make a quilt or complete unfinished objects. Make a cushion, tote bags, pillowcases, aprons. If you are not sure how to start a project, bring it along and we will assist you. Learn how to take up trousers/ jeans, replace a zip or other small repairs to make your clothes wearable. Learn how to make easy simple clothes such as boxer shorts, PJ pants, elastic waisted shorts/skirts. Embroidery, stitches and smocking also offered.Materials: Basic sewing machine required – straight and zig zag stitch only. Scissors, pins, thread, fabric, patterns, rotary cutter (if doing quilting). We have mats and rulers for use in class.

    Learn Local providers offer a range of education and training programs designed to meet your learning needs. There’s a government registered Learn Local provider in your community that can help you return to study, improve your reading, writing and maths skills, gain a qualification, get a job or learn something new. Learn Local providers are friendly and welcoming, with teachers who are focussed on helping you succeed.
